Yoga for Daily Life 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training Course
200-Hour Online Yoga Teacher Training
June 2026-Feb 2026
Yoga for Daily Life is an 8-month, 200-hour online yoga teacher training designed to support deep personal practice, embodied learning, and responsible teaching.
This training blends a traditional apprenticeship-style approach with modern professional certification standards, offering students the space to truly integrate yoga into daily life—not just learn how to teach poses.
Rooted in Satyananda-informed teachings and lineage-based wisdom, this program emphasizes presence, self-inquiry, nervous system awareness, and yoga as a lived practice.
Why This Training Exists
This training exists to help people find themselves through the deep practice of yoga—and to inspire them to live joyfully and share that with others.
Rather than rushing toward certification, we move slowly and intentionally, allowing practice, philosophy, and self-study to unfold over time. Students are guided to embody yoga personally first, and then learn how to share it from lived experience.
The Training Format
• Length: 8 months
• Hours: 200+ hours total
• Live Sessions: One 3-hour live online session per week
• Cohort Size: Small, intimate group (intentionally limited)
• Price: $3,300
Weekly live sessions are supported by personal practice, guided self-study, reading, journaling, and practice teaching. This structure allows for depth without overwhelm and honors the rhythm of adult life.
This is not a self-paced course.
It is a relational training held over time.

YTT Level 1 Reviews
“I loved getting my level 1 certification with Leiana. Her classes were truly healing and humbling as a beginner yogi. I had been wanting to get my certification for a while, and was lucky enough to have had to opportunity to study from her. Leiana has so much knowledge and passion for yoga, and I learned SO much from her, during this time. I really can’t recommend her program enough!”

“The opportunity to complete a teacher training locally came at a crucial time of change in my life. Leiana’s course helped me to dig deeper into blockages in my life and in my yoga. I highly recommend her teacher training for not only those looking to teach, but those looking to learn more about themselves.” -James D.
Completing my Yoga Teacher Training has been one of the most enriching and rewarding experiences of my life. It not only deepened my understanding of yoga but also helped me cultivate a deeper connection to myself and to others. Leiana is highly knowledgeable, approachable, and passionate about yoga. She created a safe, nurturing environment where we felt encouraged to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow. I felt fully supported and inspired by her wisdom and passion in yoga with the depth of the curriculum, and the sense of community that was fostered throughout the journey. The training was comprehensive, covering not just the physical postures but also anatomy, philosophy, meditation, pranayama (breathing techniques), and teaching methodology. The balance between theory and practice allowed me to deeply understand the foundations of yoga, both as physical discipline and as spiritual practice. The program also included plenty of hands-on teaching practice, which allowed me to build confidence in leading classes. The feedback I received from both the instructor and peers helped me refine my teaching style and learn to adjust poses to accommodate students’ individual needs. The hands-on practice was invaluable in preparing me for real-world teaching. I feel well-prepared to teach and inspire others on their yoga journeys, and I am forever grateful for this life-changing experience. If you're considering embarking on yoga teacher training with Leiana, I wholeheartedly recommend it—whether you're looking to teach or simply deepen your practice. It’s a profound journey that will stay with you forever.

“I took Leiana Lila Vati's Yoga Level 1 Training last year and greatly benefited from it. We studied the foundations of yoga including the values of yoga. It was refreshing to work with someone who not only teaches but lives her life according to these values. The two things I appreciated the most about her training were the explorations of the yamas and niyamas with her and fellow students and the practice we got leading the other students in yoga classes. At first we just led one section but by the end, we were all able to ad lib freely, generating confidence in our abilities. I am grateful for Leiana sharing her knowledge and passion with us. 🧘♀️”

“Leiana’s Yoga for Daily Life course has been one of the best things that I have invested my time and money into. When I started this course, I doubted that I would ever have the confidence to get up in front of a class and teach, and now i do it at least once a week. Not only did I learn a lot about yoga, but I learned a lot about myself too. Leiana is very kind, warm, and encouraging, and she has an extensive knowledge of Yoga. If you want to get certified to teach yoga or just grow as a person, I highly recommend this course.”

Level 2 Reviews
“I completed a Level 2 Yoga Teacher Training that focused on Children’s Yoga, Yin Yoga, and Restorative Yoga, and I found the experience to be both enriching and professionally valuable.
The Children’s Yoga module offered practical tools for creating safe, engaging, and age-appropriate classes in a very approachable way for children who are new to yoga. The curriculum went beyond just teaching “fun” poses—it emphasized how to create age-appropriate, safe, and engaging classes that foster mindfulness, creativity, and emotional intelligence. We learned how to incorporate storytelling, games, breathing techniques, and classroom management tips.
The Yin Yoga portion provided a deep dive into the physical and energetic benefits of long-held postures. It covered essential concepts such as fascia, meridian theory, and the importance of stillness in cultivating balance and introspection.
The Restorative Yoga training was particularly impactful, highlighting the therapeutic benefits of deep rest. We learned how to use props effectively and guide students into a state of calm and healing, which is especially relevant for those dealing with stress or burnout.
Overall, the training has greatly expanded my teaching skills in different age groups and deepened my knowledge in different types of yoga. I would highly recommend this program to any yoga teacher looking to broaden their offerings with a focus on gentle, mindful, and supportive practices.”

Become a Yoga Instructor!
In my journey I have learned that yoga is more than just the physical postures, the stretches and the movements. It is more than an exercise class. It is an opportunity for self exploration, self realization and awareness. It is an opportunity to form a deep relationship with ourselves and in turn the world around us, something greater than ourselves. It is a path to knowing ourselves on the deepest levels, and working through our complexities so that we may experience life in the most blissful way possible. In the The Bhagavad Gita it says “Yoga is a journey to the self, through the self.”
In this teacher training course, you will dive deeper into the meaning behind yoga and meditation through the books and theories of the Gurus and experience the beginning of this beautiful inner awakening for yourself.
Look forward to joining you on this journey
-Leiana
I have always felt very lucky to have started my yoga journey learning under the lineage of Gurus that I have. There was always a purity, a depth, a sincerity to the practice that I had never felt in any other yoga class, even after traveling and practicing yoga in different studios or even online, I had not found the same energy there. In ancient India, yoga was handed down from Guru to disciple and shared in a sacred space of practice, with the intention of higher understanding of ourselves. Purification of mind, body and soul is the goal so that we may experience ourselves in our most authentic peaceful and joyous self, overflowing with love for life and purpose. Yoga has given me the gift of self inquiry and so much inspiration and purpose has come from that. I owe it all to the Gurus, my Guru, and teachers along the way.
